Haryana is the connecting state to the capital Delhi and is one of the fastest growing economic hub of the country. Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HREDA) is taking important steps to promote solar in Haryana.

Proposed target for Haryana by 2022 is 4200 MW

Net Metering policy in Gujrat

Located on the western coast of India, Gujarat is expected to be ranked 4th in Solar Power Production by 2022. The Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) has developed strong policies and awareness campaigns to promote solar.

Proposed target for Gujarat by 2022 is 3200 MW.

Net Metering policy in Rajasthan

Located on the western side of India, Rajasthan is termed to be one of the hottest states in India. Various solar parks such as Dhirubhai Ambani and RRECL Solar Parks are located in Rajasthan. The govt. is fast-tracking approvals for mega large projects to increase their solar capacity.

Proposed target for Rajasthan by 2021 is 7,000 MW.

Net Metering policy in Delhi

Delhi is the National Capital City of India, and one of the most populated and commercial cities of the country. The Delhi Solar Energy Policy is applicable to all solar plants with capacity greater than 1 kw. The Delhi govt. is taking concrete steps and actively promoting Solar Power in the city.

Proposed target for Delhi by 2020 is 1000 MW and by 2025 is 2000 MW.
